  THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH
  Forget Disney world, Hershey park, and any other "best place on earth"s. This is it.
  All you will ever need.
  
  First off, they have unbeatable prices for unbeatable food. Have two bucks? Get a hot dog with the works: onions, chili, and cheese. Got five bucks? Get a wonderfully thick milkshake with that dog.
  
  Maybe you're not feeling hot dogs, which is totally understandable. Well, you could get a juicy, thin 2-patty burger instead. Or maybe a nice bowl of steaming chili, or a comforting crock of wedding soup.
  
  Ok, so let's say you had a rough day and you need some comfort. Or you just had a wonderful day with friends and you need something to cement the memory. Look no further because the answer is chili cheese fries. No where else on this planet can you get fries as good as these, and with your $3 purchase you get enough to feed a family! Dip those babies in the milkshake and you will have no more problems on this earth (ok, this side effect is only temporary, unfortunately).
  
  Oh yeah, some locations serve a kick-ass breakfast too. Bacon, eggs, good coffee, and a good time.
  
  I may be biased because this place is a special treat that I get to embrace a few times a year, but I am sure there are thousands of people that would back me up, and I hope you have the same experience as I do (:

  People ask me all the time "how can you love a hot dog shoppe so much?" my answer... "I just do"
  I have been to one or more of the 12 hot dog shoppe locations every time I visit Pittsburgh (Beaver county) and every time it is just perfect. I think the thing I appreciate most is that Hot Dog Shoppe is nothing fancy (I know some locations have the larger menus) but what you get is a few classics done plain and simple, but done so very well. When I go I always get the same thing, 6 chili and cheese dogs with mustard and onions, and a drink, that's it. I never even liked mustard on a chili dog till they put it on one of mine by accident, and I loved it! I frequent the Rochester location the most due to it's close proximity to my families home, and I think this little location is my favorite. Nothing but a simple menu and a small grill with very hard working people slinging out the best food daily. My Dad always said "it doesn't matter what you do in life, just do it better than everyone else" and Hot Dog Shoppe delivers every time. I can't wait till my next visit, Aloha

  I love this place. Well. I love the food, not the location. How can you not love the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe?  Great prices on great food. The hot dogs and burgers are really tasty.  The inside of the restaurant is in dire need of a makeover. This is probably their worst location as far as ambience is concerned.

  Absolutely love everything about this place! Just moved back to PA and I was craving it! It is always consistent and tastes delicious. Chili cheese dog with onion and fries with chili, cheese and onion!

  Em, you should eat out more often. The BHDS is okay, it used to be MUCH better. A fast quick, basic fast food lunch. It's not ultra--expensive , but really, why would it be?
